William Howard Liebbe was born
September 20, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas. Bill is a sixth
generation Texan and the third of six children born to Robert and
Evelyn Liebbe.
Bill graduated from L.V. Berkner High
School in Richardson, Texas in 1972. It was there that Bill
met his wife, the former Donna Inman.
Bill and Donna
married in the summer of 1973. Their son, Jeremy, was born on
New Years' Eve, 1978, and is a computer science major at the
University of Texas at Dallas. Their daughter, Kelly, was born
February 25, 1980, and is studying political science at Southern
Methodist University where she is also a cheerleader.
Bill
earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science in 1976 from
SMU. Following a year in the MBA program, he began his law
school career and graduated from the SMU School of Law in
1980. During his eight years on the "Hilltop", Bill
was on a music scholarship from the Mustang Band where he performed
numerous trumpet solos during games and concerts. He is one of
the few lawyers in the country who went through law school on a
music scholarship.
In 1980, Bill joined the firm of
McKool and Vassalo, where he practiced general civil
litigation. He learned quickly that representing those who
have been injured by the negligence and carelessness of others was
his passion.
In 1987, Bill joined the Law Office of
Windle Turley in Dallas, where he practiced exclusively in the field
of medical and hospital malpractice.
In February,
1989, Bill formed his own firm. By keeping the firm small, every case is given the personal
attention the clients deserve.
